Finding Yourself Again in the Chaos of Motherhood and Business

Hey mamas, let’s get real for a minute.

When was the last time you did something just for you?
Not for your kids, not for your business - but for the vibrant, creative, messy, beautiful woman you were before the chaos started?
She’s still there. Maybe she’s buried under a few piles of laundry and unanswered emails, but she’s there. And today, we're calling her back.

Because let's be honest: when you become a mom and a business owner, your identity starts to sound more like a checklist than a person.
CEO. Snack distributor. Diaper changer in chief. Content creator.
No wonder you sometimes wake up asking, who even am I anymore?

Here’s the thing: society rewards this hustle. We’re praised for doing all the things and wearing all the hats - but rarely are we encouraged to slow down and simply be.

And yet, reconnecting with yourself doesn’t mean abandoning your kids, your business, or your dreams. It means bringing yourself back into the story.

Here’s how to start:

1. Name the version of you you want to reconnect with.

Is she adventurous? Creative? Playful? Quiet? Write down a few traits and remember what lit you up before life got heavy.

2. Do one small thing a week just for her.

Block it off like it’s a client meeting. Read for 20 minutes, dance in the kitchen, go on a solo Target run. You’re allowed to exist outside of service to others.

3. Stop waiting for perfect free time.

There’s no magical day when everything slows down. Five minutes of joy counts. Singing in the car counts. Laughing at a meme counts.

4. Let your family see you thrive, not just survive.

Your kids deserve to see a parent who loves herself enough to dream, laugh, rest, and grow. That’s a legacy worth passing down.

5. Align your business with who you are.

If your brand doesn’t feel like you anymore, it’s okay to pivot. Your voice matters. Your brand should reflect your values — not trends.

You are not lost.
You are buried.
And you are digging yourself out, one beautiful, chaotic, vibrant moment at a time.

So tell me:
What’s one thing you’re doing for you this week?
